Mr. John Notter Elected to the LICR Board of Directors

We are delighted to announce that John Notter, one of the Institute’s original architects, rejoined the LICR Board of Directors on January 1.

As Group Head and financial advisor to Daniel K. Ludwig and his global enterprises, Mr. Notter was the first Chairman of the LICR Board of Directors. He now returns to the Board after a hiatus of almost 30 years.

Born in Switzerland, Mr. Notter came to the United States to study business finance at the Los Angeles State University. He started his career in the Savings and Loans industry during the early 1960’s, and then joined the Ludwig enterprises in New York, where he carried out financial planning and transactions for Mr. Ludwig’s various businesses. Later, Mr. Notter joined the Board of Directors of a number of companies including Credit Suisse/First Boston, Chemical Bank, Hilton Hotels and Pepcom Industries. He served as the Chairman of the Audit Committee during his service to Hilton Hotels. currently leads, and has substantial interests in, companies based in California and Florida, and serves on the boards of the Conrad N. Hilton Foundation and Frank W. Jobe Foundation.
