Australian Estate Bequeathed to LICR

Mr. and Mrs. Jack Reginald Tindall of Tasmania generously named the LICR Melbourne Branch as the sole beneficiary of their estate, a gift valued at approximately AUD 650,000 to support head and neck cancer research. As both Mr. and Mrs. Tindall are now deceased, liquid assets amounting to $150,000 were recently distributed to the Institute, and the Tindall property is currently for sale.

Mrs. Tindall, previously a nurse at the Royal Melbourne Hospital, passed away several years ago from oral cancer. It was her desire to donate their estate to LICR in support of head and neck cancer research. It is intended that the proceeds will be distributed between the Ludwig Branch in Parkville and the Ludwig Clinical Science Center at the Austin Hospital.

LICR is most grateful to the Tindalls for this kind and charitable gift.
